Synopsis:
Biology Revised has been written for the New Leaving Certificate Biology Syllabus (2002) as an aid to revision and to help students to summarise each topic into essential points.
- The book contains 28 Chapters - each one representing a sub-unit of the syllabus, but, with a few more detailed topics being covered in more than one chapter. The chapters follow the order in which the topics appear in the syllabus.
- Each chapter contains 20 questions with blank spaces to be filled in by the students. When they have this done it is suggested that they familiarise themselves with the 20 statements and the diagrams which accompany them.
- The questions have been carefully chosen to help students learn the type of precise answers required by Section A of the exam paper and they can also be used to form the basis for longer answers required for Section C of the paper.
- The 22 mandatory activities are included where they occur in the syllabus.
- Questions for Higher Level Only are highlighted in the text.
